How you can help your pets have a good holiday too...
Avoid them picking up on any stress levels – allow plenty of time to drop your pets off and if you are feeling anxious about leaving your loved one, then make sure you allow plenty of time to chat to the staff which will give you peace of mind and help to relax your pet.
Be prepared – write a list of your pet’s dietary requirements, any medication, favourite toys and any favourite areas that they like to be tickled or scratched!
Home from home – bring along a blanket or toy that your pet uses at home. Familiar smells and objects all help them to settle in their new surroundings.
